IMPLEMENTER: Centar za promociju civilnog društva (CPCD), in partnership with the HELP organization
Donor: European Union
Project value: 1.7 MILLION EUR
Project duration: June 2022 – June 2025.
The European Union member states jointly built a zone of stability, democracy, and sustainable development while maintaining cultural diversity, tolerance, and personal freedom. By pooling the resources of member countries, the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina helps institutions at all levels, the business community, civil society, and citizens achieve the European future of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The “EU for local communities” project, which the Centar za promociju civilnog društva implements in partnership with the EU Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, aims to contribute to the understanding and acceptance of the advantages that the European Union has for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project is realized in cooperation with the Help organization – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Project activities will be carried out directly with citizens within local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The project is aimed at minor interventions of modernization and improvement of facilities of social importance related to various aspects of the integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the European Union, which will be organized in local communities in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. All these interventions are intended for the population, representatives of public institutions, and civil society organizations.
As part of the “EU for local communities” project, we will also carry out activities to draw the public’s attention to the values of the European Union and show the significant financial and professional support that the European Union has been providing for the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina for decades.
Through its implementation, the project will involve at least 100,000 direct users in the next 36 months.
