ABOUT CENTAR ZA PROMOCIJU CIVILNOG DRUŠTVA

Centar za promociju civilnog društva was established on June 10, 1996. It was registered with the Competent Registration Court in Sarajevo on 15 July 1996 under the number: R-I-128/96. In accordance with the Law on Associations of Citizens and Foundations of the Federation of BiH, re-registration and harmonization with the Law was performed on July 14, 2000 under the number: 04-05-2-3813 / 2000

MAIN PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES

To achieve the set goals, as well as priorities, CPCD will continue to use existing strategies:

  • Strengthening and promoting civilian society through creation supportive environment, strengthening the capacity of individuals and organization and assignment grants.

  • Empowering independent media in BiH through raising campaigns news, grant support for production of own program, position improvement and media capacity, legal assistance and promotion of civic journalism.

  • Providing training services, capacity building organization, technical support organizations, institutions, companies and donors, ka o and individuals and schools in BiH and the region.

  • Strengthening the role of organizations civil society in BiH and countries of the region in the processes associations and actions in EU, democratization processes and establishments survive rule of law.

  • Encouraging, strengthening and civic promotion participation and civil activism at all levels management.

  • Planning and implementation advocacy campaign and lobbying, information, awareness raising and promotion good practices.

  • Monitoring and evaluation results and public influences policies, including public support and development policies civil society for CSOs and civil society development.

  • Construction activities active, sustainable and prosperous society and economies through profiling specific commercial services that support CPCD sustainability program.

  • Analyzes and research in key areas of action of the CPCD involving civil society, media, rule of law, environment, democracy and others related areas.

  • Improving education practice from preschool, primary, secondary and high education to the informal education, and education adults.

  • Education of organizations, institution and individual in the field EU preparation and implementation projects according to the program which accredited Ministry of Education, Science and Youth KS Academy drafting EU projects.

  • Networking, construction coalitions and partnerships within BiH, countries of the region and Europe, including organizations civil society, academic community, government institutions, media and economic entities.
