Visits to schools continued, this time mainly in the Krajina region, ie in Glamoč, Mrkonjić Grad, Banja Luka, Čelinac, Gradiška, and Prnjavor. What has been noticed in all schools is that the project “Think Nature!” was a real refreshment for schools during the pandemic, because it drew the attention of teachers and students to another topic that is common to all. The importance of concrete practical activities implemented by schools was especially emphasized, as well as the continuous support, openness, and flexibility of the team of the project “Think nature!” and the consultants who were at the service of schools. What has been identified as the only difficulty is the new way of holding classes due to epidemiological measures, especially the length of classes, given that the project aims to include environmental topics in the regular teaching process. Notwithstanding the above, all schools visited were very successful in marking environmental dates with the involvement of a large number of students and teachers. The activities that were realized from the beginning of March to the end of May showed that a good topic can arouse the interest of students, their parents, teachers, the local community, and the media.
At the beginning of the month, a competition was announced for the ECO JOURNALIST award for professional, responsible and influential reporting on the topic of environmental protection, in three categories: video / audio, text and photos: https://mislioprirodi.ba/konkurs-za -novinarsku-nagradu-eko-novinar-ka /? fbclid = IwAR3P67QN1jgZf_Fd4fjnmE3RfQRRKPAlyWxiuXIFb_1d7lLyhpjkQFVnC7U
A two-day advocacy training for project partners was also held.
When it comes to partner activities, we especially highlight the Eco HUB Mostar and the celebration of World Environment Day, which we also visited.
